This exhibition seeks to explore the notion of protest. Like revolutionaries and radical political activists, artists question authority and the status quo. Positioned on the periphery of society they have the ability to reflect, question, and play.
Inspired by the disobedient materials of protest each artist uses a different tone and beat in their work. Subverting the formality of signage, playing with language and visual storytelling to express messages.
