a pop-up project of context-specific commissioned work
gloria has been conceived as a “pop-up” project which would enable the artists to explore the context of specific situations and significant moments of market-led activity which this week offers, using a singular title which invites a multitude of meanings and interpretations
The viewer is invited to construct and deconstruct a set of narratives for gloria through each individual work, and through the presentation of 7 independent commissions placed here in Shoreditch, to coincide with the art fairs and diverse range of contemporary art showing in London over the next few days.
