A Solographic Pinhole camera image, exposed for over a year in Stöðvarfjörður, Iceland. The camera was set up set up as part of a residency in June 2016 and was left to expose until August 2017. The image shows the view over the Stöðvarfjörður fjord and the mountain Súlur to the south with the path of the sun over the year visible as arched lines in the sky.
The image was made with a homemade beer can pinhole camera, taped to a lamppost with the image being burnt through time directly onto photographic paper to produce the negative that this image is taken from.
An A3 print is currently available for a limited time to support my studio provider's move to new premesis.
