An experiment with using the semi translucent nature of certain 3D print filaments as a tool for creating photographic imagery via the photogram/contact printing process. Further experiments can be found by following this CRJ link (LINK TO BE ADDED). Caffenol developer was again used as an ecological alternative to traditional developers, with the coffee giving the prints their distinctive colouring. The ephemeral nature of this kind of process lends itself well to explorations of memory and pasts/futures. The filament used is organic, starch based PLA filament which under the right conditions is compostable.
